Job Description
Cabedge is looking for college students with desire, determination and a strong design portfolio. While we can appreciate concert posters and album covers, we’d like to stress that ideal candidates should have a clean and professional design aesthetic. We make simple, clean and usable websites. Sites that get people to the information they are looking for quickly and easily. Just take a look at the work in our
portfolio to see what we mean. Your tech knowledge is important, and we do want to see that you can build a website, but it doesn’t need to go overboard with fancy flashy tech-guru implementation. If you really want to wow some of the people here, we suggest making your portfolio site usable. Just something simple and clean that makes it easy to see the info you want us to see.
Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite of applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Ability to take direction and constructive critique
Outgoing, team-oriented personality and a desire to learn
Working knowledge and ability to convert PSD designs into WC3 compliant CSS/HTML is a strong plus
